Geologic Mapping and Cross Section Techniques Class
Course Summary: This two-day hands-on computer training course is designed to introduce participants to computer mapping, database management, data manipulation, cross-section construction, and engineering functions using the PETRA software program. Participants will experience building a computer database, generating maps, cross sections, and overlays. Exercises will include data loading, structure and isopach mapping, and creating structural and stratigraphic cross section displays using a relational database including well, log, petrophysical and production data.
